If I had to choose one dog as being my favorite, it would have to be this guy...
In 1986, I chose a pick of the litter black male puppy, later to become CH JOSHUA OF TARAWAY'S BUMPERCROP WC CDX CGC.
Joshua quickly stole the hearts of many, and at the tender age of 9 months, he achieved his WC (not once but twice) and continued to strut his stuff in the conformation ring to complete his championship at 14 months with a 5 point major and two 4 point wins. Onward and upward we went into the obedience ring. Here he completed his CD at just over 1 year of age. Having such a great time, we set our sites on CDX, but due to an upset in my life, this was not achieved until 1992. Now at the young age of 12, Joshua was tested and certified CGC.
Reflecting back, I had no idea how much joy and inspiration he would bring into my life, nor how much he would fill my heart. He has been the most wonderful teacher, the most patient dog, my best friend........... my most prized possession.
