Easton is our upcoming stud dog born to our girl Jaunenoir's Too Fit For You ex Can Ch Riverroad Tiburon CD WC. He is a very solid, well built boy with lots of bone, nice headpiece and great coat. His temperament is outstanding, being very affectionate, with eyes that glow full of mischievousness, and at the same time giving an expression of "who me???". He often gives a look of inquisitive almost asking "what can I do for you next"? replying, "just leave it to me, I'll get the job done!" :-)

Easton holds an extra special spot in our hearts. He was returned to us after an unfortunate situation with his previous owners. Although it was a great loss for this family, it was our great fortune. Easton was one of three puppies that Too Fit managed to nurse to the tender age of 2 weeks. On this 14th day, we were told Too Fit's uterus had perforated during birth, and that the poisons had entered her body - no antibiotics were strong enough to cure the infection. She was held in my mom's arms while she crossed the rainbow bridge.

After Easton returned to us, it was without any doubt he was staying home. We entered him in his first show, the Labrador Owners Specialty 2003. With great gusto Easton placed 3rd in the Senior Puppy Sweepstakes, handled by Brittney. This was a big accomplishment given the fact this team only worked 1 hour together before entering the ring. The judge commented, "This dog although a pistol, has wonderful movement and temperament!" When being examined by this judge, Easton was playing with her, rolling on his back, licking her face, and wagging from head to tail and taking the "seriousness" of this dog show!! :-)

At Easton's first All-Breed show held in Sault Ste Marie June 2003, Easton won Best Puppy in Group, Winners Dog, 4/6 Reserve Winners Dog and 4/6 Best Puppy in Breed... all by the age of 10 months!

Easton continued his success by attaining his Canadian Championship October 2003 at 13 months of age. He did so in style... achieving 2 Winners Dog, 2 Best Of Opposite Sex and 1 Reserve Winners Dog.

A special "THANK YOU" to Shane Salemink, Sarah Drake and Brittney Dawney for their team effort in completing Easton's championship.

Easton was our "main man", who in his own mind believed he was "king"! :) After a lengthy decision, we decided Easton needed to go and live his life where he was "king of his castle", and today he lives with a wonderful family, living the high life, where he is still ready and rarin' to go!! :-) You go boy!!!
